Hotham Valley Railway to experience the freedom of rail travel in the style of years gone by: soak up a hundred years of history on board our vintage dining train or thrill to the sights and sounds of steam power in the Darling Ranges!
Our spectacular
STEAM RANGER services are steam hauled and operate in the cooler months of the year, generally May to October inclusive.
FOREST TRAIN and
ETMILYN DINER (Restaurant Train) services are diesel hauled and operate all year round on operating days (see below).
Bookings are essential for the Etmilyn Diner Restaurant Train, and are recommended for Steam Ranger services. (See below for Booking Office details.)

Running Times:
Trains run all year round on operating days - generally weekends and public holidays, and selected other days during school holidays.
Adult prices start from $24. Bookings and enquiries can made via our Perth Office, open 9am-5pm weekdays.
